Greengeek
There was a group in orange tops in Woodseats on Saturday that would do well to read their highway code again. Riding 3 up in busy traffic is universally stupid. Oh and the typical red light invisibility cloak too. You would do well to not go cycling with that group as you'll probably end up squashed. runningowl
Sorry greengeek but cyclist now taught by police to ride two or three abreast and 1metre away from curb because of too many car drivers ignoring the required 1.5metre overtaking room and pedestrians stepping out without looking properly. Greengeek
Show me proof of that. As a cyclist myself, that's bloody suicidal. 66 You should ~snip~ never ride more than two abreast, and ride in single file on narrow or busy roads and when riding round bends ~snip~ http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/TravelAndTransport/Highwaycode/DG_069837 Even if it was "recommended" to do so, it's down to common sense. You're more likely to enrage other road users and it's downright inconsiderate. I also note that it's 99.9% of the time the arrogant road cyclist.
