Mrs Overall
I thought i had seen the heights of ignorance...oh no! Standing at a bus stop on Bridge street Killamarsh, across the road a van type lorry vehicle was parked up at the bus stop, near a crossing on the zig zag lines. and on double yellow lines, i thought the last 2 were illegal not too sure about the bus stop... All this was bad enough but the bus decided to come, the bus driver couldnt pull down the road as he would have been parked so far on the crossing, so he had to park in the middle of the road. Unfortunately this left quite a drop of about a couple of feet. This ignorant pig sat in his cab and watched a young woman with a crutch nearly having to jump down and an old lady get off After he watched them he just turned his head away...i dont know if the bus driver had one of the steps that drop down, if he did he didnt use it..(im not turning this into a slagging bus drivers off post)... If i had been getting off the bus i would have asked him to move... Rant over....

Next time you see this do what I did to a berk in a merc some years ago that decided to park at the bus stop. Jump in the passenger seat and say "one to town please". When the reply that they're not a bus tell them to "get the <expletive> out of the bus stop then"

Resident
Ha ha ha nice one. First giggles of the day :hihi: I got the idea from a stand-up routine from when I was a kid and said to myself that I'd do it one day when the opportunity presented itself. Which it did. AJ sheffield
Talking of seeing mad stuff at bus stops, about a month ago I was driving along Attercliffe Road and at the bust stop between Baldwin Street and Stevenson Road was a man in his mid to late 30s with a little lad of about 8 who I'm assuming was his son. The little lad was holding the shopping bags whilst the bloke was actually squatting down and having a dump next to the path, with no cover and during heavy traffic
lee892
its like that a Crooks shops every day-delivery drivers just pull up and unload where they want,on double yellow lines,on zigzags near crossing,on the crossing and if all else fails they will double park and block the road,i personally think the shops they are deliving too should be fined as well as the drivers. But there is no Traffic wardens about to enforce anyway-they are all in town :-(
