speedy69
Is it the one where you cant read anything on the dash?
Hanksy
Its the common scenic fault. Whereas the dash resets all clocks to zero, goes off when it feels like it, bleeps etc...
speedy69
You have to go through the dealer mate as they cant repair it (only replace) Best ring renault and get them to book it in at your local dealer, they charge you £100 to replace it. The whole thing is a big con because they know it's faulty on certain models but wont recall that model. Take a bit of advice, get the dealer who does it to write a letter stating that the dash was changed due to being faulty and that the mileage has gone to zero or you will have trouble when you sell. Its now £150 as Ive been in already to ask. I said as I walked in, I need to know the cost of the dashboard fixing .... she knew the make and year of car without saying a thing!! So I know its a common problem! They cant fit me in until next Friday, not sure if I can drive without a dashboard until then!!
