fruitisbad
Oh come on. Nor every country is as liberal in ours - a cure would allow homosexuals in other countries to avoid at best stigmatisation and at worse lethal persecution. Is that not a benefit in your eyes? or maybe we need to put pressure on regimes that support such acts. the fact that you even refer to 'a cure' is unbelievable. what you are talking about is people being scared to admit who they are and ways to hide it. nice one. Conrod
Most homosexuals I know have taken the chance to have heterosexual encounters. The fact that they are still happily homosexual shows your assertion to be wrong. No, it shows that they are still homosexual.
splodgeyAl
No, it shows that they are still homosexual. And your assertion was that they'd benefit from being heterosexual, but they clearly disagree, being, as you said, still homosexual

Do you think we ought to 'cure' people of being black or of having a particular faith, since these two conditions are also used as excuses for persecution and bigoytry? As for religion, it's just mass delusion and arguably mankind's greatest evil, but irrational beliefs aren't quite relevant to the thread.

Most phobias are irrational fears.

In the same way that during the 1960s it might have benefited black people in the American deep south to have whitened up?
Bloomdido
I'm getting a bit bored with being hetero. Will their therapy work the other way and make me homo?
