To believe it was designed then begs some very big unanswered question as to who designed it, and then who designed the designer. The circular ad infinitum scenario.

No, thats an outdated atheist cliche- like who created God?

Because then it wouldn't be God!

Then like you say, you would need to ask who then created creator, who created the creator,  and who created that creator ad infinitum.

You will never have a beginning! You cannot have an infinite regress.

Not outdated at all as there is no proof that God exists so it is a perfectly valid question to ask.

But there are many Gods and if you believe in just the Biblical God then the Bible clearly states in Genesis  "Let's make Man in our image" which is plural.

Not according to our present understanding of cosmology and physics. Our understanding of the creation of this universe is that it all started with what is called the big bang. That is the point where time and space began so nothing existed before that event, even a creator God. If you believe that it was created by God then that is just a question of faith and as you know faith requires no proof.

As many have said about how it all came about the correct answer is we simply don't know as asking what there was before the big bang is meaningless.

That's irrational,  you cannot have an infinite regress of causes.

By rational necessity one cause has to be uncaused.

I once was mad about a girl called Jean, she was like heaven on earth. Just another goddess along the way.

Me too! It was a religious experience. Walking on air, singing hallelujah and all that.

Don't see how they could improve on that, in the hereafter!  :)
