spooky3
years ago the older generation had morals and principals, they also had a work ethic instilled in them to better themselves fast forward to today. we have a gov thats only interested in looking after its own, they avoid paying taxes, they are taking away the rights of the working man/woman. what would the older generation of the past now think of the present government? why should the younger generation of today try to better themselves when they look at this corrupt and incompetant government and think what have they done for me ? Look at the last government, just as bad if not worse, but in reality, from the outset of having a parliament, it has got a little better each time, more regulation brought in each time. Most people seem to forget that the last Labour government raised taxes, started the privatisation of the NHS, had cash for peerages, expenses scandals, etc, etc... What was that the PM was referring to about this afternoons vote, just what Ed Milliband was against in his previous statement, totally idiotic hypocrite by way of ignorance! JFKvsNixon
geez some people really have their heads buried in the sand to believe that The highest tax rate under Labour for all their government bar a few weeks = 40%. The highest tax rate now after their recent cut = 45%. What's not to believe?

So nothing has changed and your original statement is false, you can't have it both ways.
