Isabelle
I thought everyone had MP3 players nowadays, but, waiting for the bus recently I saw a teenage lad with a personal CD player. I had one about 13 years ago, and they were awkward to carry, and skipped if you moved them too much.
charliewag
i had one of the first walkmans and like you i was in the loft recently and found it. i showed it to my lads (22 + 19 yrs) and they were amazed at this 1/2 house brick size music player! it still worked but i was persuaded to bin it. Alien52
I used to know a woman who was so PC she insisted they be called "Walkpersons".
Minimo
I've still got mine. I'm hoping if I keep it long enough, it might become an antique. See you on the Roadshow!
The_Mommy
I was also going through my loft the other day and came upon some very strange dinner plate mats. They were about 12" round and very black with what looked like a non slip surface on them. Everyone has a strange title and someone called Elvis on them... Strange, the things our parents used to put up with isnt it ?
AJ sheffield
Just been going through some stuff in loft and found a old Walkman cassette I wonder if people still use them? I used to have a Pro Walkman back in the day but sold it, also had loads of different model Aiwa personal cassette players which I preferred over the Sony's. Still got a nice minidisc walkman though. Eric_Collins
Recon if you have the very first genuine Sony Walkman it could be worth a mint to the right retro collector.
