Their navy's private army's private air force, the air arm of the Marine Corps, have greater offensive capability than the entire RAF. Their air land and sea assets are anything from 10-20 times ours, and generally their gear is at least as good. And they've had plenty of practice using it. Best to know what you are talking about before you post, looks like you need to know what you're talking about before you post. What has the Great White Fleet got to do with the Revolutionary war and later the war of 1812? The Great White Fleet didnt exist until around 1907 I was referring to the fact that while substantial French aid was given to the colonists in the war for independence such actual military aid by the French was not given to the Americans in the war of 1812 The poster I was replying to seemed to have got those two wars confused.
