EDL gets owned on Twitter

Recommended Posts

Nothing wrong with the EDL, if we had listened to Enoch Powell maybe the country would have no need for groups like these however and everyone can pretend to be left wing.

In how many countries are there no "groups like these" or the equivalent? Not many, that's for sure. While ever there's people there'll be good, bad, clever, thick, disillusioned, misinformed, etc. There would ALWAYS be gangs of thuggish, bigoted idiots regardless of who inhabited the country, they'd just have a different target that's all.

That is a very good point. You only have to look at organisations like the Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging which is an equally racist organisation but was calling for white supremacy in an African country.

They tick all the boxes in your post but more so in that they were the immigrants that should have been sent home.

Exactly. It doesn't really matter which race or country you give as an example, there will be morons with usually idiotic agenda's. I suppose it cannot be stopped, just controlled where possible.

Most people did listen - it couldnt really be avoided at the time - and the majority decided that he was talking nonsense. A sentiment that most people today agree with.
