Expat owl Posted April 18, 2012 Share Posted April 18, 2012 How strange- I have a single mum friend who earns in excess of £21k and she gets both CTC and WTC with the childcare element also. Yet us, as a couple, earning less, don't get any WTC. And there's 2 of us obviously rather than 1. I don't get how they work it out at all Sadly neither do the departments that run things which is why the whole system is a mess.
