cuttsie
In the 80's the concrete finishing and moulding section went on strike for some reason. Monks! Hodkin and Jones sacked them. The lads then started their own concrete goods company in an old works building without a roof on Effingham Road . The cooperative became very successful and took all the customers from Queens Road. Two of my pals Freddie Sanderson and Joe Polagreno were part of the team. Top company, Top lads.
