HotPhil
If the vehicle looks OK, is parked legally etc then a few days isn't worth getting worried about. What if the owner has parked up and gone on holiday for a month? Might have to get used to it being there for a while.
dutch
I've seen people bundle out of their homes double quick to move their vehicle a cars length once the space outside their home becomes available, these types are stupid Just like ten people waiting for a bus and they all signal for the bus to stop when it comes. kiradee
Hi everyone thanks for the replies but I live in the middle of nowhere with only few people around us not on a main street with loads of houses so this is a very strange thing to happen so I just wanted some advice as to what I could do as like I said this is a very strange thing to happen.... It has no signs of being broken into and the tax disc is In date so I do know that it is not illegal for it to be parked there it's just strange and unusual and wanted some advice

Better than ten people waiting for a bus, bus comes and no-one signals. Bus drives past. Seen it happen at City Hall stop before.

You could also call the police and ask if it has been reported stolen, since it's an odd place for someone to just park up and leave a van for any length of time. Both of those suggestions, of course, assume that you've already spoken to the few neighbours you do have and none of them know anything about it either. ricgem2002
it might be showing a valid tax disc but it could be still illegally parked outside your house if it hasnt got valid insurance (just to complicate things)
Cyclone
Wanting some help or advice, I have for the last few days had a van parked outside my front door it has not been moved nor has anyone been to it at all since it was parked there. nobody knows who parked it in front of my house or anything about it but it is really doing my head in, if my parents come to visit they can't park in front of my house because of this van so I am wanting to know what I can do if anything Thanks If it's taxed then there's nothing you can do about it. Your parents can of course park somewhere else, it's not you're road after all.
Cyclone
why shouldnt you be able to park outside your own house??i know how frustrated i feel when i cant but on the same token if your cars parked there then your mom cant anyway! You should be able to park wherever it's legal to park, and so should anyone else. That may well include outside your house.
