MichaelTravis
Brothers and Sisters Anyone know a good place to buy a hard drive (internal, 80-120gig) in Sheffield? Are the numerous shops on London Road going to be any use? How much should I expect to pay? The hard drive has to be Mac compatible, but I can research that on the web once I spot a good deal. Thanks
BrainThrust
I was reccomended Direct computers near to the town side of London Road. The guy is a good mate and he got a good deal there very recently. Perhaps this is what you want? Wilf
t020
160gig internal HDD for £75 + delivery. Beat that. Not sure about compatability with MACs though, so look around on the site there are plenty more, and Ebuyer is Sheffield based.
Tony Ruscoe
Can't recommend them as I've never been in, but there's a Mac specialist shop on West St. I think they're called "Mac Solutions" but can't find them on Yell.com.

Martin_s
my advice is not to buy from shops... go direct over the web... no offense to anyone with a store.. but the prices are somewhat cheaper...

Abdul
If you have a moden Mac, it should have an IDE connector, therefore a PC disk will work fine. Just remember to reformat the disk first!
