Andy C
We used to do the Hope Valley Train Crawl but its not that great anymore. The two pubs in Edale are still OK, but we prefer to do it as a 272 bus crawl now and do pubs in Castleton, Hope and Hathersage. There are plenty of pubs to go at in Castleton... Snakey_B
I am taking a friend on a Dronfield Real Ale pub crawl this weekend. We intend to start at the Dronfield Arms and work our way back to the Coach and Horses. Is this feasible and are there any pubs selling Real Ale in between these 2 ? Id agree with the other comment , start at the 3 tuns (futher down the road towards unstone) then walk round to the swan or dronfield arms, after that you can carry on to the bridge inn(dont know i they have ale on) but ater that theres no pubs any more til you reach coach so you could turn left up the bridge then right onto the high street so you could go in the dragon, stoops and futher up the Vic and then walk down the hill to the coach. But if your only after real ale and not a pub crawl the other "real ale" pub is the jolly farmer up at pentland road (which you can then get the 43 down to the 3 tuns and dronfield arms)
