Eckolad
Tha'ts all fair and well quoting this and that but the bottom line is you can not get **** out of a wooden horse, if they don't want to or they cant pay there is nothing you can do trust me I have been there loads of times with people owing me money. You can always put a charge on the property if they wont pay

Lounge Jay
The small claims court have proved to be useless, has anyone ever used a debt collector Hire these chaps http://g.virbcdn.com/_f/cdn_images/resize_640x640/0d/PageImage-504491-3057563-gang.jpg they're quite effective I'm told. Eckolad
A charge Ecko. For an £800 debt?? Indeed It is possible and would certainly make a lot of people pay up
waggyisace
Lounge Jay Ha ha Ecko I'm not saying they don't work used correctly but for a debt of £800 I wouldn't say that is correct procedure, certainly not before using more cost effective methods. Even on an £8k debt you may not use a charge immediately. However, on saying that I have previously used one straight away on a £10k debt with excellent results. Horses for courses!! Cat86
Thing is... the debtor, if it goes to a debt collection agency, can offer to pay £1 a month. Which would have to be accepted. Debt collection doesnt really mean that much
