I'm going tonight with some mates but last time I went was 4 years ago, with people from chesterfield and I can't really remember the bars. Cheers. Much as I like Chesterfield the bars certainly in the centre are dire. Typically dark,dirty places with music so loud you can't hold a conversation. I see what you meant with the outdated scruffy looking bars, but the atmosphere in comparison to sheffield town centre was much better, all in all an enjoyable night.
