skippy Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 I worked at Proctors on Fargate for a few months in 1960, Proctors other shop at Haymarket was called John Peters at that time, named after the big boss's son's. Everyone thought Proctor's had there own fleet of removal trucks, but it was a different company all together, but they delivered all the furniture bought from the Proctor's store.
