It's a dangerous precedent, because it was the depression that allowed Hitler a route to power. I doubt it'll spread to the UK, but for European politics it's an ugly day. So Golden Dawn target immigrants to get a point over to the rich who don't care about the poor in the first instance? Like the BNP and EDL, logic isn't exactly up there is it. The British have a long and proud history of mocking idiots, not joining them. I wouldn't be so sure about the book burning. I bought a book from a charity shop the other day and if I was to consider it as fuel it is actually cheaper per unit of energy than natural gas!
