Remember once upon a time on ebay you could search for random stuff that was finishing anytime soon? Well now you have to do that in a certain category (ie computers, or home and garden..or whatever). On Money Saving Expert, there's a great tool that will search your locality for stuff that's 'pick-up' only and ending soon. The theory is, that if it's pick up only, then it's likely to have less bidders, and therefore cheaper.
