PandaJuggler
I didn't receive a card either. I emailed elections@sheffield.gov.uk yesterday evening and got a reply saying I was on the register and giving me a voter number/code type thing. I should add that I applied late (but before the deadline) having just moved areas.
Jeffrey Shaw
The only questions that Poll Clerks [the ones who physically issue the voting forms] are permitted to ask are: a. "Are you the person named [xy] on the Electoral Roll?" **; and b. "Have you already voted at this election?" So it all turns not on receiving/holding a voting card but on whether one is registered to vote. ** Yes, I used to be a Poll Clerk. Just you try asking question 'a' when the voter's called something like Wlwkskskwck Zltpkcks!
Darth Vader
Anyone who has not received their card, or has any other complaint regarding electoral services can ask for a form at the polling station apparently and put it in a box there.
