We kick-started the year back in January with our now legendary ‘Journey Through Trance’ classics night and are just off the back of our huge 5th birthday, which showcased the return of Sean Tyas alongside Menno de Jong, Orjan Nilsen and Bryan Kearney playing to an almost capacity crowd, providing one of our most popular birthdays to date. May 18th sees us returning to Sheffield for the next event in the OTR calendar and we bring you something extra special as we combine some of the most demanded DJ talent along with a unique Live show from a true pioneer of the scene. Headlining proceedings in May, and making a much overdue return, is clubber’s favourite LANGE. Lange is recognised as one of the most influential dance artists of the past decade; a DJ who has remained at the forefront of the scene throughout his career and a producer that continues to push all boundaries. LANGE is on yet another production jaunt with his, dirtier, edgier LNG brand. The first single, ‘Brandalism’, was a huge success and his following production ‘Harmony Will Kick You in the Ass’ became one of the biggest tunes of last year. Alongside Lange’s exceptional and successful studio work, he is a prolific international DJ, making appearances for some of the best club brands in the world including Godskitchen, Gatecrasher and Ministry Of Sound. It’s over two years since Lange has graced the OTR decks and his return will be a welcome one for sure. Next up sees a debut OTR performance from Finnish producers SUPER8 & TAB. Having pushed themselves to the forefront of the trance scene since 2005 the duo are highly in demand and have huge support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, PVD, Above & Beyond & Ferry Corsten who regularly smash their tracks both club-side and on the radio, while global dance bibles such as Mixmag and DJ Magazine laud them with 5 star reviews. They headlined the Future Stage at last year’s Trance Energy and have played for brands such as The Gallery, Mayday, Godskitchen and A State Of Trance, as well as continuing their residency at Helsinki’s legendary Hallmark club. In between all this they also find time to hold down a regular spot on the monthly Anjunabeats Worldwide radio show. This May OTR is proud to announce that we are bringing you a very rare chance to see THE THRILLSEEKERS (LIVE XTREME). This unique performance has only been seen in the UK on one occasion before so is definitely not something to be missed! THE THRILLSEEKERS have been at the forefront of the world's dance scene since 1999. From his first single 'Synaesthesia', through to the club anthems 'Dreaming of You', 'NewLife' and 'By Your Side', Steve Helstrip has been behind some of the most emotive, evocative electronic music, ever released. However, not resting on his laurels and with a clear objective to think outside the box he welcomed 2010 with the first phase of his Live Xtreme show. Steve's 1 hour live performance includes his biggest club anthems remixed and replayed live on stage. It also features tracks from his other guises such as Rapid Eye, Hydra and Insigma and truly takes the live performance of Electronic Dance Music to the next level. To date Steve has showcased Live Xtreme at profile events across the world including ETD Love (San Francisco), DancePort Festival (Taiwan), Gaudi Arena (Moscow), and Ministry of Sound (London) with promoters quoting that THE THRILLSEEKERS have really set the 'standard for live performance'. Completing the line up we bring you some of most talented club residents in the UK.
