I don't mind helping you out, but the Northern Soul scene can have an element of snobbery and elitisum about it when it comes to the medial used to play the gig. Are you looking for a dj to spin the vinyal or will cd or laptop do. If you need vinyl, DJ Micky might be able to help. he guest djs at the Bessemor and Attterclife social club. retrogo Posted May 4, 2012 Share Posted May 4, 2012 be very careful cos the northern scene in sheffield is saturated and well established nights are struggling due to too many events I'de rather have plenty of alternative music events, than hardly any. There's too many venues playing mainstream. At least retro music has a distinct following of very friendly people who really like music for quality.
