kittenta
Bit of a strange, erm, discussion (if you can call it that) but which do you have? To me, it would be Fish & Chips, because the fish is the main part of the meal. A bit like Gammon and Egg (gammon being the main part) or Tomato soup (tomato being the main ingredient). So, please end this discussion, which is the correct way around?

kittenta
Could it really be down to where you come from / live?
Leah-Lacie
I agree with you about saying the 'main part' first! Like fish with a side of chips. My friend says "eggs and bacon" rather than bacon and egg, which I find annoying!

I've always said the main part of the meal first .
janie48
Well so far Fish and chips are ahead in the poll. What do people have with them, butter and bread or bread and butter?

A breadcake, certainly not a bap, roll, bun, cob or flippin' barmcake!
