muddycoffee
I have lived in sheffield for all my life and I am in my forties, I have never once heard anyone say chips and fish. I have never seen a fish and chip shop with a sign saying "chips and fish". This must be someone's idea of a wind up.
skinz
Have you noticed that the only drink that goes with fish and chips is Tea. No other drink is palatable with that meal, in my opinion. I'm so glad you said "in my opinion". Tea is satans milk, the most vile and putrid of all beverages. IMO. Chips n fish. It's usually how I eat them too.
