The Last Laugh Comedy Club returns to the Lescar this Thursday with a cracking bill of comedy. Special guest MC Rob Rouse is joined by Nathon Caton, Peter Brush and Martin Mor.

His TV credits include presenting the first series of The Friday Night Project on Channel 4, the C4 sketch show Spoons, and playing Mike in the first series of he BBC3 sitcom Grown Ups. He’s also a regular on Celebrity Juice ITV2 and has just finished filming a brand new primetime panel show.

 

NATHON CATON

Multi award-winning comedian Nathan Caton has been active on the UK comedy circuit since the tender age of 19. He excels in combining both personal, confessional material with up-to-date social and political anecdotes. This has won him numerous credits and plaudits over the years and has made him one of the hottest rising young stars on the circuit.

 

In 2006 he continued gigging and was rewarded with a nomination for Best Newcomer, at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards, and made his first TV appearances on Richard Hammond’s 5 o’clock show and Little Miss Joycelyn, amongst other radio work.

 

In 2007 Caton appeared on ITV2’s Comedy Cuts, returned to the Edinburgh Festival to perform in a two-man show, and in October 2007 he got his biggest break when his debut comedy pilot The Nathan Caton Show aired on Paramount Television. Caton wrote and starred in the 30-minute show where he guised as different comedy characters and this earned him a Hotshot award from Broadcast magazine for his writing.

PETER BRUSH

Leeds based comedian Peter drops in to showcase why he’s being recognised as a future star. Silly lines and excellent one liners make him possibly the UK’s answer to Woody Allen.

 

MARTIN MOR

Martin comes from Northern Ireland, and after a successful career as a circus performer, he turned his attention on the unsuspecting comedy circuit.

With over 25 years experience as a professional performer, Martin has established himself as one of the UK’s most popular and in-demand comedians.

Martin has performed successfully at events of all description; from the Hammersmith Apollo to a show for the inmates of an Italian prison, from comedy clubs to performing before members of the British Royal Family.

 

Very much the comedian’s comedian, Martin has been the support act of choice for; Frankie Boyle, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jasper Carrot, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas, Steve Coogan, and once Tina Turner.

 

With numerous appearances on radio and television, Martin has worked at all levels of the industry; being a warm up man, devising and performing his own BBC television show, and writing jokes for some of the biggest names in British comedy.

 

A truly global performer, Martin has worked throughout the known world performing his shows extensively in Britain, Ireland, The USA, Italy, Holland, Germany, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Mainland China.
