shanes teeth
Well thank god for that. It's about time too.I have flatly refused to visit Crystal Peaks for many years now having been faced with the prospect of having to ride on outdated, environmentally unfriendly escalators. It was enough to make you use the stairs. Three cheers to the Star for letting us know!
metalman
Presumably the stairs are a very good example of an energy-saving escalator.

freeman78
Doesn't sound like there was much mis-management on the part of Sheffield Homes to me... “We work very closely with tenants, firstly when they sign up for a council property, then throughout their tenancy and during the rent recovery process, to offer support for any additional needs they may have. “Mr Royston told us he did not have any particular needs that prevented him from paying his rent. I wonder who took the (non) story to The Star - was it Mr Royston? ooow somone from sheffield homes sticking there head above the para pit. its about time that the star did a bit of investigative journalism on sheffield homes and the council. there will be plenty for them to report on, but they wont because the council have them in there pocket, sheffield homes are a joke
northernboy
Here's a good one : http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/local/apology-over-bin-collections-1-4962018 Bin collections on this street were a day late on one occasion, and the following collection was a bit "later than usual"
woah
"Madowhall M&S unvieled band new look" http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/madowhall-m-s-unvieled-band-new-look-1-4978648 Not that much of a non-story - but the spelling of the title, really? It sounds like someone is trying to say it with a cold. It's a ridiculously poor standard of journalism.
