rubydazzler
Women have only been shaving underarms and the like only in the last 100 years. Even in Europe, the trend has only been popular in the last 30 years or so. Just take a look at photos of women in the late 1890s to early 20th century. Hairy. If we never shaved, most leg hair would have gone darker, but not thicker like it does when we shave it off regularly. I've never seen pix of naked women from those eras, so can't say yay or nay. I'm using my own experiences as a benchmark. I was going to type a bit about my ancesters beauty routines, but I've deleted it, seemed a tad disrespectful.
