davyboy
Two days ago having parked my car at the supermarket,I was approached by a rather nice young lady. Excuse me sir, (my wife says that shows I'm above a certain age ) she said in a foreign accent..........could you get my car keys out of my handbag? She opened the bag which to my only contained a bunch of keys and a mobile phone. Most women carry everything including the kitchen sink in their handbags. I looked at at her in surprise when she said, holding out a nicely manicured hand, I've just had my nails done and don't want to spoil them. I did as she asked and gave her the keys to her BMW. I had to chuckle......it's not often I get chatted to by young lady , Well never actually. Anyone beat that???

rothschild
Brilliant!! Stolen BMW with your fingerprints on the keys. Mmmmmm....never a truer word spoken in jest! Sounds very sus to me anyhow. I don't do this nail stuff but surely there are women throughout the entire country that have their nails "done" but still manage to function without asking somebody to pick their keys out of a bag. Just watch your back davyboy.

davyboy
Brilliant!! Stolen BMW with your fingerprints on the keys. Just what my wife said!!!!! However her explanation was plausible as there's a nail parlour across the way.
Jason Bourne
Ooh, do you think it was a sting operation, for some trashy new TV show: "How honest is your town" or something? Good on yer for being honest and flying the flag for, er, kent...
Tess
I used to get my nails done often and can vouch for the wet nails story. Absolute nightmare if you forget to take them out first!
