Green Web
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/9263453/500000-to-lose-disability-benefit.html This move apparently will rid the system of its abuse and fraud, I'm skeptical and doubt it will do anything other than save the government money, put disabled folk on the dole and have the right wingers jerking off. So is this a positive move to rid the system of fraudsters and abuse, or just an attack on disabled who can't fight back?

A positive move to rid the system of fraudsters and abuse and more needs to be done to break the addictions of many that are claiming and turn them into productive members of society, when the government save money, we the tax payer save money or have more money to spend in other areas. grafikhaus74
I read over the weekend that the UK has gone to the top of another European league (teenage pregnancy, obesity, illiteracy etc.). From having 'only' 70,000 mobility scooters 5 years ago, the number is now 300,000. Wow, that's some epidemic of 'disability'.

Absolute rubbish!.............everyone knows that the system is highly abused and needs urgent sorting! "Genuine" claimants won't have anything to fear,so why stir it. AbdullaJones
So is this a positive move to rid the system of fraudsters and abuse, Yes or just an attack on disabled who can't fight back? No................. The only people it will really affect are the workshy scroungers who make a living from claiming.
kevvy
Contrary to popular belief, not everyone who claims benefits is a "Scrounger" and as such will suffer because of these cuts !

quisquose
On Radio 4 this morning, I heard one of the Today presenters say that there are currently 3 million people claiming Disability Living Allowance. It does seem rather a lot.
