rjgill
WESTON PARTY 2012 The mini music festival started out in 2010 and has grown to its third exciting year. Weston Party basically aims to bring people together to celebrate beautiful live music from some of Sheffield's finest and raise as much money and awareness for local charities. This year's selected charity is Weston Park Cancer Hospital which we are sure has touched most of us in some way shape or form. To celebrate this we have 6/7 live quality Sheffield bands/artists to perform for FREE, to you the good people. Previous Weston Parties has seen the likes of Steve Edwards and Jon Windle perform. The Event is FREE of charge from 11.45am to 6pm bank holiday Sunday 3rd June. Punters are asked to respect the beautiful park that is Weston Park, but can bring their own refreshments as long as they clean up after! Rugs, beers, food and shades welcome. There will be food vans, hot and cold drink vans too, along with face painting for the kids. We aim to beat last year’s total raised which was just over £1,000, so to do that we have a raffle which will have top prizes on offer. Plus charity buckets will be about for you to put donations in. Toilets are available at the neighbouring Weston Park Museum. Last year’s event saw over 1,000 people attend. The sponsor of the event comes from IRIS Solutions, a Sheffield based Web design company. http://www.irisassociates.com/about/ LIVE ACTS; DRIFTRUN THE RATELLS PISTOLA KICKS HITOMI LIBERTY SHIP SEE EMILY PLAY Djs SOUNDLAB
