Mecky
Please, I'm desperate for your votes http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-27998411 The phrase, "We're all in it altogether, " seems very apt
Mister M
Oh dear, how sad, but never mind! Prisons are like holiday camps, I read it the Sun, so it must be true ---------- Post added 24-06-2014 at 17:59 ---------- I see the witch has got away with it I wonder what her husband was disposing of in the basement? He said it was porn - bull****
Anna B
Surprised to say the least. I thought they were in it together so both either guilty or not guilty, not one of each. But then I'm not on the jury and wasn't at the trial so who knows...?
Stan Tamudo
Poor old Coulson, the establishment needed a sacrificial lamb to save their own backsides. I'd like to know if Coulson and Brooks drew straws or did the eany, meeny, miny, moe thing?

But then I'm not on the jury and wasn't at the trial so who knows...? To quote a couple of lines from the movie Zulu: "Lieutenant John Chard: The army doesn't like more than one disaster in a day. Bromhead: Looks bad in the newspapers and upsets civilians at their breakfast." You can substitute the word, “Army,” for “Cameron,” hence his snivelling apology today ---------- Post added 25-06-2014 at 08:38 ---------- Trying to hide computers in flats so nobody could find them and it's no cover-up? Oh dear, what was the Judge thinking?
Jeffrey Shaw
You and we know almost nothing about the evidence heard by the Court, let alone what the trial Judge was thinking. Don't confuse sensational journalism and its excited reports of selected highlights with how a trial actually works!

I see no reason, once the case is over, why the public can't see the whole evidence and transcript of what took place in court.
Guest sibon
You and we know almost nothing about the evidence heard by the Court, let alone what the trial Judge was thinking. Don't confuse sensational journalism and its excited reports of selected highlights with how a trial actually works! We can, however, see the filth that NewsCorp has waded around in for years. We can also see connections to the heart of Government. We can see that Coulson and Brooks were rather close. So, you'll have to forgive us for seeing the potential for a cover-up. Maybe the legal system should be more transparent, so that we can understand judgements like this. It is really rather perplexing to a lay person. Jeffrey Shaw
We can, however, see the filth that NewsCorp has waded around in for years. But that was not any part of the Court case. It was about interception of mobile telephone voicemail messages.

I'd like to know if Coulson and Brooks drew straws or did the eany, meeny, miny, moe thing? Yes the old Chipping Norton set (including the right wing troll's pin up, Jeremy Clarkson) showed solidarity when they turned up at Brooks house last night for a celebration party with lots of Krug, no doubt; while Coulson, the Essex boy, took the rap. Oh well
