harleysdiner
The Wick at Both Ends is holding an evening devoted to fantastic food and drink in honour of the Queens Diamond Jubilee. Following on from the success of our Valentines evening we have put together a special six course menu, themed around the British Isles, and complimented with specially designed cocktails. Held on Tuesday 5th June, this is certain to be a special evening! The evening will kick off in style, with each guest receiving a specially designed welcome cocktail, before settling down to their six course tasting menu meal. The menu will be centred around Wick & Mix-esque dishes, each a quirky twist on a well loved British classic. Example dishes include a Chip Shop Platter of unusual takes on favourite foodstuffs such as the battered sausage and mushy peas, and a sumptuous Mini Beef Wellington. In keeping with our unpretentious attitude, the price for the evening is only £25 per head, for six courses and a welcome cocktail. Places at the tasting evening are limited, so bookings should be made by either popping into the bar or calling 01142 723039. The evening will be held on Tuesday 5th June, and tables are available from 5pm. x:love:x
