Getting a cross trainer fixed

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a Bremshey Orbit Control S cross trainer. Bought it a few years back (2006) when it was the best in the market.

Then following a home move, I lost the electrical adapter and after ordering a new one, it just stopped working. There seems to be no electrical activity on plugging it in. It has been lying in the Garage fro few years but I have to move home again.

I enquired from the company and they are asking for 100 pounds for just the eingineer to visit. I think if I get it fixed and then put it on EBay, it will probably fetch me about 160-170 (going by recent EBay prices for the same model).

Any ideas about what I should do. Any talented engineers who would want to buy it off me for £45- 50 and try to fix it themselves and make a bargain?
