Ron 'Ace' Allcard

Hello Firparnian,

 

Yes Ron did work at Brown Bailey for a while

Also Ron' school education was at Central Technical School in Sheffield, in Builders stream.

I was at CTS an engineer , but dont remember Ron at school .

I had discussed with Ron about getting involved with OBA , an excellent old boys network , with a dedicated secretary Stuart Green.

Would be good if anyone could shed light on the period Ron was at CTS.

 

Coincidently Stuart Green was at Brown Bailey before setting up his own steel stockholding business.

Hi there, I'm Ron's daughter, Rachel. I am very sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately, my dad passed away after a short illness on 15th September. He is sadly missed by all of his family and friends and we are all trying to come to terms with our loss.

The funeral will be held at Grenoside South Chapel, Sheffield at 3.15 p.m. on Friday 28th September 2012.
