Is there any wonder some of our young don’t want to work.

What if somebody on benefits refuses to work? Or do forced labour for benefits?

More imortantly, does man have access to land resources which allow him to grow enough food to feed himself, build a dwelling and business premesis, extract enough energy resources to power said dwelling, and a business premesis?

Yes, all they need to do is get a job and earn enough money to buy it or rent it. But it’s not for everyone, and it would be impossible if 65 million people wanted to do it.

You still require the produces of a larger landowner?

You must work for the land.

And a man without land must work for the produce of the land.

Yet he cannot produce anything from the land himself.

You appear to be suggesting that at birth one should be allocated a plot of land in which to grow crops and build a house.

Once all the land is allocated, where would the additional land come from to give to the increasing population?

So why do we import more food than we can possibly grow?

IF you have 4 acres they can do.

There is an acre per person in the UK. I doubt you can use it intensely enough to warrant your use of the land in terms of 'land productivity'.

This is a list of the biggest land owners, as you can see much of the land is owned by the people for the benefit of the people.

The Forestry Commission

2,571,270 acres

The National Trust

630,000 acres

Defence Estates, for the Ministry of Defence

592,800 acres

The Pension Funds

550,000 acres

Utilities: water,electricity, railways

500,000 acres

The Crown Estate

358,000 acres

The RSPB

321,237 acres

Because there are too many people living on our island to be sustained by our island.

Which rather suggests not everyone can buy their own land and grow their own food doesn't it? It is the Good Life, whether people want it or not.

Isn't that what I already said?

I know plenty people on the dole, many could undercut you.

Should they sign off and compete for your 4 acres?

Undercut you and grow their own veg?

They could always try working, save some money, buy their own 4 acres (agricultural land isn't very expensive), and then try to undercut him. That's how capitalism works.

What do you want to do with the land?

Being a farmer is not profitable these days. Intense work for low profit.

Building, property is not so profitable and there are few buyers.

I want a piece of beach and nice weather. It produces relaxation, happines, joy. People can come and we can have a party.
