Gordon Brown V David Cameron

Recommended Posts

Well well well, David the man for the working classes.

Angel.

Can you confirm to us whether you actually work or not?

You do seem to spend rather alot of time on here.

Many thanks.

I thought most posters on here knew of my personal matters, it's no secret.

Sadly after 40 odd years of graft my poor old body cried enough. What with prolapsed discs and athritus, and a host of "man problems" a Consultant Neurologist called a halt to my working life. So we exist on our savings and the small ammount of brass the government give me. We also pay full rent and Council tax as well.

"I am not receiving any money from this engagement personally"

So who is the money being paid to? Either Gordon, best man for the job, Brown is an idiot working for free or the money is going into a tax dodging personal company like Livingstone. Ruddy Socialists they are all the same ..... do as I say, not as I do.

Here is the answer, at the bottom of Gordons post.

All facts re, (I am not receiving any money from this engagement personally.) should read, ( It is being held by the Office of Gordon and Sarah Brown for the employment of staff to support my ongoing involvement in public life.) I had to reduce the word count of the post.

This is how it read on the Government webby site.

I am not receiving any money from this engagement personally. It is being held by the Office of Gordon and Sarah Brown for the employment of staff to support my ongoing involvement in public life.

I had to reduce the word count of the post that's why it read as it did.

So it appears that all the brass acumulated goes into an account held by the Office of Gordon and Sarah Brown. So guess who it goes to. The answer is there if you look for it.

To sum up, then; Gordon Brown earns vastly more money from outside interests than does David Cameron.

However, since Brown is not currently a Prime Minister and Cameron is, it's not all that meaningful a point. It would be more interesting to know what Brown was earning from outside interests in, say, 2009.

Logic prevails.

A prime minister should probably pay us to be in office. They make millions once they quit the job. Blair made millions for being in office for 11 years. Brown has made millions for only 2 years and not even an election win. I've no doubt Cameron will earn a fortune once he moves out of number 10.

It would be nice if some of them paid tax on it all and didn't use accountants and tax avoidance measures that they publically advocated stamping out.
