Megrahi is dead

Recommended Posts

A royal visit to Libya is being reconsidered after the welcome given to the Lockerbie bomber on his return to the country, the BBC understands.

The Foreign Office is reviewing plans for Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, to meet senior figures and promote trade.

The visit - planned for early September - now seems unlikely to go ahead.

The reaction in Lybia was entirely predictable, so why didn't anyon discuss this earlier?

Think about it, he has already been convicted of the bombing, so its a pretty sure bet that he is a terorist - now he only has a few months to live.

Whats to stop him trying to make himself a martyr by trying to take out some of the royal family ?

Why not, I wouldn't miss any of them, especially Andrew and if he takes his dopey brothers with him-bonus

They have oil, we need oil.

I think they would send Dianas remains if it would secure oil from Libia before anyone else.

Oil has just about dried up everywhere with no new oil fields found for years and the Saudies probably lying about the amount of reserves they have for fear of the Americans not kissing their behinds.

I dont think they will cancel the visit, they will just hold a press conferance saying how they didnt like how they welcomed home the freed bomber ect.

  • 4 weeks later...

abdelbaset al megrahi has published the papers that would have been the centre of his defence - the UK criminal cases review reckoned that the evidence points to the clothes being bought when megrahi wasn't in malta , therefore innocent.

bit of a bombshell for those ( especially in the USA) who are foaming at the mouth at him being allowed to peacefully die (they aren't fond of peaceful death in the US) at home ?

whatcha think?
