Where does the metals for battery's come from? Mined in far east filthy mines where wages are around £2 per week. Pollution from these mines dumped in rivers. How much to charge these battery's? Fresh air? These cars are a gimmick as are wind turbines, they will not exist in 10 years unless battery technology improves massively. The future is Hydrogen, there is a small firm in Sheffield developing this technology but to expensive yet.
