But does that mean all Catholics on missions feeding starving people or aiding people affected by natural disasters should come home to do that job though? Maybe some people would die without that aid and support. But if we'd rather these poor people die, simply to serve a collective punishment on all Catholics.... The Catholic stance on condoms afaik was no different in places Africa than it was in Catholic heartlands, places like Italy and Spain. Harleyman Posted May 24, 2012 Share Posted May 24, 2012 Instead of volunteering to cure the sick in third world countries, why dont they volunteer to cure the mental torture of young people who were abused by Catholic priests for years while in their care. I dont think catholic priests are equipped to deal with counseling and helping molestation victims. They are not equipped to deal with marriage counseling either although they think they are.
