alchresearch
Is he, staring Robin Williams. Now that film does bring out a sense of rage and anger in me!
GreenyGreen
For the record.........I love porn and I love the fact that it's available at the clich of a mouse, these days. But, I'm very much of the opinion that porn is far to accessable for children on the internet. How difficult is it to put the laptop/pc in the living room where it's in full view of everyone ? Problem solved in an instant.
Scozzie
why restrict everyone? Parents should restrict their childrens computers, but why should everyone suffer and have to 'register'. Can you imagine all the spam emails you'd get (and the content of them) if you had to register to watch porn online?
L00b
Granting a child access to adult-owned equipment and monitoring its use by the child is the sole responsibility of the equipment owner. Anyone looking for more nannyism in lieu of parental accountability is IMHO guilty of parental neglect. Arguments to the effect that kids are getting "more tech-savvy" than their parents really translate as a wilful surrender of responsibility as well: what's the matter, are you vegetative/brain-dead? Can't you learn? And don't you think you owe it to your kid(s)? Also its not censorship on any level if all you have to do is opt in to use it.You have that the wrong way round: it is not censorship if the user has to opt out. As in, the material is freely accessible 'by default', 'opting out' (of accessing/receiving it) causes the voluntary self-restriction.

llamatron
Nothing should be filtered out / censored on the internet. it wouldn't be filtered or censored as much as the act of charging for the service filters/censors!

Also they might want to spend their time working to pay the bills or actually going to do activities with their children rather than try and stay one step ahead of their childs hacking abilities.
