Holiday abroad in easter hols 2013

Recommended Posts

Looking to go abroad in easter hols next year. We will have a 4 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old.

Looking for somewhere warm but not too hot, very family friendly, short flight, and cheap.

Any one have any specific recommendations for resorts/hotels. Either s/c or all inclusive would be fine dependent on costs.

Thanks

Turkey Altinkume, low cost and nice beaches people are very friendly if a bit pushy sometimes, there seems a to be a lot of kids there but we don't have kids ourself so I can not be sure about that, one thing though it is very hot there.

Anywhere in Spain at Easter time is amazing, the Spanish have huge street processions and really go to town in their celebrations at Easter.

Northern Spain shouldn't be too hot at that time of year and if you go somewhere near the Pyrenees you can even climb and maybe even get some snow, if you do go be sure to book early.

Limiting flights to a couple of hours would mean mainland Spain at Easter (not sure many companies go to the Balerics at that time?) - the most likely to have sunshine would be the Canaries but flights would be a longer.

When you say family friendly what are you looking for? is it water parks etc - or just long sandy beaches for kids to play on.......or do you want child care / kids clubs?
