There have been folks working on the boats and preperations for months. The information is here if you had bothered to look. Cromwell called himself Lord Protector but he turned out to be more Nazi than protector, committed terrible atrocities in Ireland and even cancelled Christmas. As with all these so called "causes" they aren't careful what they wish for. They know what they don't want but when they get what they think they wanted it all goes horribly wrong. After Cromwell people welcomed the royals back with open arms. They would rather have a monarch than a political dictator any day. And that's as true today as it was then. They did not welcome the Royals back with open arms, the Royals were once again imposed on the people by the landowners I.E. the very people who had been given the lands by the Royals in the first place.
