I saw a ghost last night

Recommended Posts

I did not use that expression.

Ok, its what I meant at the time.

I am glad you didnt take my advice and I hope you are feeling better.

I know now that your just a big softie at heart  Your fantasies are a bit worrying though, "whips", of dear what would Lizzie think of you :nono:

Yes thank you I am feeling much better and no I will not be taking up your 'kind' offer to 'go' to Uzbekistan or Russia, me and my deep root are British and for better or worse intend to stay here in our green and pleasant land (well most of it still is), with or without a monarchy but come the revolution you had better watch out :o

rainbow i was quite overcome when i read your post to xenia, had to dash for the tissues.:cry:I don't want to upset your republican strongly held but noble and principled views, but you must admit the "Queen event" really did bring out the best of us in the end. I'm so glad you are feeling better.:)

You surely didn't take that nonsense about the whip seriously though did you.

The whip is quite soft. I trust when the revolution comes you will remember me, and that I did renounce my aggressive tendency. I am glad you are well.

Ladies, I will do my best to drive from my mind all thoughts of the whip, I do however note that you have no objection to the Basque and the suspenders?

Before you answer please remember that I do have hair like George Clooney.

Okay then, Is there a reason to think that dogs are receptive to ghosts or is it just something that some people say, perpetuated by others accepting it and repeating it?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm not castigating anyone, I'm just asking a simple question.

Also, what makes you think the dog was confused?

I take it then that humour is defunct where you reside

I am currently on a fair mixture of medication;

TRAZODONE HYDROCHLORIDE 150mg 2 a day

PREGABALIN 300mg capsules 2 a day

MIRTAZAPINE 45mg tablets 1 a day

BUPRENORPHINE 20mcg/hour patch 4 Patches 1 a week

ESOMEPRAZOLE 40mg 1 a day

CETIRIZINE 10mg tablets 1 a day

PEPTAC liquid 500ml as and when needed

RAMIPRIL 5mg 1 tablet a day

TESTOGEL 50mg 1 sachet a day

some of the things i have seen/imagined would make your hair curl, i swear that i have seen massive immovable objects move, giant rats walking over the floor, people walking in/out of rooms when i am on my own, add to that the confusion that the medication causes it really gets quite worrying, as to weather or not I'm going out of my mind. I have even had full blown hallucinogenic episodes where i pushed my wife out of bed as i told her it was sinking and i had an imaginary board to push under the mattress to help stop the boat/bed sinking. i would dread to think in my present state of mind how i would cope if i was to believe that i had seen a ghost/apparition for real.

I understand what the OP is trying to say. When I was a teenager I used to do some babysitting and would walk home alone at night. This used to scare me somewhat so many times I would run home. One night a car drew up in front of me very quickly and a man jumped out. I thought I saw a man with a stocking over his head but when I looked again it was just an oldish man with a flat cap on. Fear had made me see something that was not there. Your mind can play tricks on you and fear, dreams etc can make your brain very open to suggestion.
