barleycorn
How can it? Someone approaches me late at night and asks for 20p to get the last bus home. I take pity and give them the money. They then nip into a 24hr Tesco Express, buy a knife and stab someone. I am then apparently partly responsible through my act of kindness. jb

barleycorn
Not same thing is it? - the bus driver hadn't stolen anything, he could have took her name and address and issued her with non-payment ticket. He wasn't responsible for rape but he was out of order as a caring human being at 3am by leaving her there. OK, how about this one.
