To clarify, I asked the seller if they meant that they would obtain a proof of posting? (as opposed to sending it, inside the parcel).LOL I feel more confused by the reply (copied & pasted as it is). Yes the receipt will be proof of posting as they will entre address where its going, the proof that they received item from me going to the address shown on the package. It seems that you have it in your head that "Sent" means sent by post, where everyone else recognises that in this context "sent" means by email or private message on ebay.
