SportsTrophy
James Thompson has rekindled the 1950's Stannington Road Race with the help of Rutland Cycling Club after the event stopped running around 20 years ago. It was a great turnout and the weather was fine. The wet roads made for some interesting cautious racing lines with no injuries at the finish. Sam, 19, from Lancashire beat the local lads to it after setting out on a two man break from near the beginning of the race. Well done. Youtube link to follow.
