metalman
I thought it might be a new biography of John Major, but then I saw it on memebase.com with the tagline: At last: a worse love story than Twilight.
Suffragette1
But like everything else, (music, films, comedians) it's down to personal taste. I know 4 people that have read, or are, reading this trilogy. Wife ................. loves them and hardly puts the books down, 1/2 way through book 2 Wife's friend ........ has read all 3 and thinks they're great. Work colleague 1 ... has read them and thinks they were cr@p Work colleague 2 ... is halfway through the 3rd book and can't put it down. If we all liked the same there'd be no variety in life. p.s. apparently I've now got to buy a whip and some handcuffs. I read in one of the Sunday papers that sales of rope (like the one used in the book) have soared in the States, and all being purchased by women, so you'd best get the OH down to B&Q then! Of course it is down to personal taste, but I was expecting serious erotica with some really creative and imaginative sex (dull) and better writing (rubbish and repetitive in my view). I do think that it is very difficult to write well about sex, which is why most authors do not even attempt it.
squeakyclean
I have mixed feeling about this book. It is indeed very repetitive, but as an easy read, I did quite enjoy it. I must admit if it were not for the fact that the 3rd one is supposed to be better, and they are only £2.70 odd for the kindle, I may not have bothered after the 1st one. I have just started the 2nd one, so not sure If I will make it all way through!
cjjf
I'm on the 3rd book and i agree that its very very repetitive with the "erotic scenes" (I'm thinking grey must have shares in viagra:hihi:) but the general story line of the book is ok i've continued with 2 and 3 purely to see how it all turns out in the end. DaniBabi
Personally I have to disagree, I bought all 3 books on Thursday and have just finished the 3rd, I think they are a brilliant read as does everyone I know who's reading them! All down to personal taste I suppose....

top4718
Its become a bit like the Da Vinci Code phenomenon of a few years ago everybody reads it because everybody else seems to be but the book is actually rubbish and will appeal more to non regular readers (who read on holiday) than people who read all the time.
