tinfoilhat
Depends. Based on the violence on the streets of Poland you'd say yes. Base on a cracking game inside the stadium with only one or two bookings, played with skill and spirit you'd say no.

Alien52
Sport is good and healthy for humanity, but weather it be team or individual sports, does it become political, tribal and divisive when its international? Could depend upon whether it is raining or not.
tinfoilhat
Violence in Poland? Anything to do with the football? Now that's a whole different question. Why else would there be so many Russians in Poland ? Invasion ? Booze cruise ? Is sport an excuse for tribal violence ? Yes certainly if there are historical grudges to bear. Is sport itself a reason for fisty cuffs ? As we don't often see rugby or cricket violence (well, very occasionally ) I'd say no.
