Mercenary
My friend and I are going to the UFC event in September at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham. We are looking at paying for the £100 tickets but I am confused by the seating plan on their website- http://www.capitalfmarena.com/listing/ufc The options for the £100 tickets are blocks 1,3,4,5,6,7,9,11,13,14,15,16,17 and 19 i.e. everyone except 2,8,10,12 and 18. I am wanting to find out what tier the seats will be in and make sure it isn't the very top tier. I have tried calling the Arena a couple of times but the staff don't seem to have a clue about it. Does anyone have any insight?
Mercenary
In the end I've had to rush a bit and buy a ticket in Block 19- has anyone sat in this black before for an event?
Happ Hazzard
I was going to go to this event but ticket prices are a rip-off. UFC 105 in Manchester a couple of years ago had tickets for £40 and that had Randy Couture in the main event and Michael Bisping in the semi-main. I am not paying £75 or more to see Brad Pickett fight in the main event.
the_rudeboy
As far as I remember, Nottingham arena doesn't have lower and upper tiers like Sheffield arena. Pretty sure its just a single bank of seating and not as high as Sheffield arena.
Kid Sampson
The pricing for this event is crazy, especially considering its going to be a Fuel/FX card, probably Dan Hardy main event.
Mercenary
Yeah it's overpriced but I'm willing to pay it. There is an interesting debate on mmatorch about whether British fans would go to an event starting at 2am if it meant a world title fight. Happ Hazzard
Most arenas can't have events starting at 2am nowadays due to noise curfews.
