boyfriday
oh come on you're just miffed because it wasn't a black rapper doin kenneth branaghs part:hihi: Not at all jc, you see most black folks don't hyper ventilate when they see someone with a white face depicting them, it's gone on for eons..remember the Black & White Minstrel Show? Al Jolson etc etc. Yet one Olympic event showing a few black faces out of historical context and pandemonium..there were less histrionics when Chicken Licken thought the sky was falling in! boyfriday
Quite, and well said. Perhaps to be truly authentic, all the volunteers in the opening sequence should also have had half their teeth knocked out and left the rest to rot? Funny how some suddenly start questioning historical physical accuracy when it comes to a black face but not in other matters. They were all too tall too, people were quite a bit shorter back then. :hihi:
